The Club is proud of having Late Rtn M Mosharraf Hossain who brought for the Club a district glory by being elected unopposed District Governor of RI District-3280, Bangladesh for the Rotary Year 1994-95, Besides, the club has reached to its present position with the proper guidance and relentless service of the undernoted Past Presidents from the very commencement of the Club. Our honourable Past Presidents were (1) Late Rtn Shafique Ahmed Bhuiyan, Charter President 1889-90, (2) Late Rtn PP Meshbah Uddin Ahmed 1990-91, (3) Rtn PP Q M K Au 1991-92, (4) Rtn PP Taybur Rahman 1992-93, (5) Rtn PP Mosharraf Hossain 1993-94, (6) Rtn PP Khalequzzaman Chowdhury 1994- 95, (7) Rtn PP Khalilur Rahman Chowdhury 1995-96, (8) Rtn PP M Aftab Ahmed 1996-97, (9) Rtn PP Al-Haj Habibar Rahman Mia 1997-98, (10) Rtn PP Munibur Reza Chowdhury 1998-99 and (11) Rtn President M. A. Latif 1999-2000. Another group of dedicated President between 2001 to 2016 contributed a lot in running the club and bringing to its current height.
The Club has successfully hosted a number of District Meetings and Programmes. To mention a few: (i) two Presidents Elect Training Seminars (PETS) & Secretaries Elect Training Seminars (SETS) in 1992 & 1996. (ii) Joint hosting of District Conference -1995 & (iii) Seminar on "WORLD PEACE & UNDERSTANDING" in 1995 and 1997.
